It peaked at number 7 on the UK Official Albums Chart and remained his highest-ranked album until 2020's "Ordinary Man," which reached the third spot. His thirteenth and final album to date "Patient Number 9" (2022) reached number two. In 2006, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Black Sabbath, and in 2015, he received the Ivor Novello Award for Life Achievement. Ozzy Osbourne, whose birth name is John Michael Osbourne, is one of the most influential heavy metal musicians in history. Often called the "Prince of Darkness” or just “Ozzy,” the musician began his career in 1967 as the vocalist for Rare Breed. The band broke up after two shows with Ozzy and other bandmates joining Polka Tulk Blues which renamed itself to “Earth” and finally “Black Sabbath” in 1969.
He was dismissed from Black Sabbath in 1979 due to his tardiness, heavy drug and alcohol use, and personal conflicts with other band members, which pushed him to begin what would become a successful multi-decade solo career.
Ozzy is one of the first true heavy metal rockstars in history, inspiring decades of musicians and the creation of dozens of heavy metal sub-genres.
Ozzy is 74 years old. He was born on December 3, 1948.

He would not return again until 1997 but would leave 9 years later in 2006, returning a fourth time in 2011 before departing once again in 2017.
Ozzy Osbourne is 5’10” (1.78 m) tall.
Ozzy is a father to six kids. He has two kids with his former wife, Lisa Stelly and three children with his current wife Sharon. He also adopted one of Sharon’s sons from a former relationship.
Ozzy Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019, but he did not publicly reveal the diagnosis until the following year.
