Paik's 2002 Concert History

Detroit trio Paik was formed in 1997 by Rob Smith (guitars), Ryan Pritts (drums), and Ali Clegg (bass). They released their debut album Hugo Strange in 1998. Corridors followed in 2001, and The Orson Fader in 2003. was next, The breakthrough fourth release, Satin Black appeared in 2004. Clegg left the band in 2005, to replaced by Anthony Petrovic. This revised trio recorded and released Paik's fifth and final album, Monster of the Absolute, in 2006, followed by a 10-year live DVD, Magnesium Fire. The group quietly went on hiatus in 2008.
