This is incomplete. Pain in the Grass started under the Space Needle in the early 90's In the summer time KISW had Pain in the Grass stage set up under the Space Needle and it was free to attend. I saw Gruntruck there 3-4 times. Pearl Jam even played the stage though they did not divulge they were, you only found out when they started playing. I worked a few blocks from the Seattle Center and would walk after work ever Friday in the summer to watch. Every up and coming Seattle Grunge band played that stage in the early 90's.
