Painted Smile was an Eurocore band from Haarlem, the Netherlands. They started out in 1999 and released two items: "oprechte haarlemse hardcore" and "all-round hardcore". In the early days they performed with paint on their faces (usually, but not always, they had a smile painted), but this unique feature was neither understood nor appreciated by the public.
