Peachy Keen's 2011 Concert History

Peachy Keen is a unique four-piece band based in Auckland, New Zealand who describe their sound as ‘noir lounge pop’. The band consists of bass player, songwriter and singer Kathryn van Beek (Katie Keen) pianist Nigel Braddock (Dreamy Keen), jazz drummer Ben Lockwood (Mean Keen) and jazz/country violinist Tamasin Taylor (Squeaky Keen). Songwriter Kathryn is an acclaimed, award-winning playwright and this has lent a literary, quirky, storytelling bent to the songs which range from satirical to theatrical to sublimely melancholy.
