Pele Juju, reunited in 2007 after a seven year hiatus, are dubbed by their fans as "The Wild Women of Worldbeat". The true essence of this all women's band defies description. Voted 5 times in a row in the 90s as "Best Local Band" in a Santa Cruz readers poll, Pele Juju's musical magic created a tremendous and fast-growing grassroots national following.
