Pitou is Dutch songstress Pitou Nicolaes (born in Amsterdam). Her recordings are characterised by her highly distinctive voice, unique compositions, and the use of vocal harmonies as an instrument in themselves. Live Pitou is accompanied by backing vocalists, who help put forth a rich and in-depth sound.
