Planet Joy was an experimental rock band based in Joburg. The band members were Marthinus Kirsten, Stefan du Randt, Kruger van Deventer (Swart) and drummer Isaac Klawansky (Flash Republic/Shadowclub). Their music includes elements from industrial, ambient, electronic and alternative music, drawing inspiration from innovative alternative acts like Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode and UNKLE.
