Pleasure and the Beast Concert History

Pleasure and the Beast was a short-lived new wave group from the U.K. Known for their dueling male and female vocals as well as their raunchy subject material, they were seen as being sort of a modern update of the artist Captain & Tennille. Formed by Robert Pereno and L.A. Richards after the breakup of Shock, the group is defined by their most popular hit, the 1983 dance club favorite "Dr. Sex" (also known as "Doctor Sex" and other such names) released from their five-song EP of the same name.
