Plymouth Rock Concert History

From 1994 to 2002, Plymouth Rock was the loneliest band in Providence. While Fort Thunder thundered and the Loser Bar lost, the trio played sad, funny, short songs to small audiences. Supporters included Cara and Michelle of P Squared, Lizzie at AS220 and Brian of Mobees, but the band's self-defeating choices - from the horrible not-even-ironic name and humiliating onstage outfits to their reverse snobbery and inability to network with out-of-town bands - led them nowhere.
