Polvo are an American indie rock band formed in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, in 1990. The band was fronted by guitarists/vocalists Ash Bowie and Dave Brylawski. Eddie Watkins played drums, and Steve Popson played bass guitar. The band reformed in 2008 with Brian Quast assuming drum duties. Their sound, foreshadowing math rock and post-rock, is defined by angular post-punk songwriting, complex and dissonant guitar harmonies and driving rhythms, complementing cryptic lyrics. The band's name means "dust" in Spanish, or "octopus" in Portuguese.
These are videos from concerts where Polvo played, so they may be of other bands that played the concert as well.
