As a member of Sonic Sum, Preservation started making records at a culture-defining moment alongside the Ozone collective of Company Flow, Antipop Consortium and Mike Ladd. He is a long-time collaborator of Yasiin Bey and one-half of the critically acclaimed group Dr. Yen Lo with Brownsville Ka, His broad production work includes music with RZA, GZA, Raekwon, U-God, Sean Price, MF Doom, KRS-One, Lord Jamar, Roc Marciano, Jean Grae, Quelle Chris, Mach-Hommy, Billy Woods, Moor Mother, Navy Blue, Your Old Droog, Aesop Rock, Chris Dave, and more.
