Queen Cult are two gal pals presented live as a four-piece rock band based in Macclesfield, Cheshire formed by lead vocalist and guitarist Maisie Johnson and bassist Leila Jacklin, with Brodie Carson on drums and Piers Jarvis playing rhythm guitar. Their musical references are broad and include No Doubt, Paramore and Nothing But Thieves. After a pandemic imposed hiatus, Queen Cult returned in Sept '21 with new single “Show & Tell”, which detailed their candid struggles with the British government’s response to the pandemic.
