Richard Teitelbaum (Born 19 May 1939 in New York City, NY, USA, died 9 April 2020 in Kingston, NY, USA.) was a composer, keyboardist, and improvisor. He is a former student of Allen Forte, Mel Powell and Luigi Nono. He is best known for his live electronic music and synthesizer performance. He is also involved with world music and uses Japanese, Indian, and western classical instruments and notation.
