Richard Clare "Rick" Danko (December 29 1943 - December 10, 1999) (his birthdate is often mistakenly listed as 1942) was a musician and singer from Green's Corners, near Simcoe, Ontario, probably best known as the bass player and one of three lead singers of The Band.

I know it wasn't a dream (though it felt like one) -- I saw Rick Danko in the tiny Musicians Exchange, in the brief time that it was located in Delray Beach, late in '98, and I can't find any mention of it anywhere! Hoping somebody here might have a lead!
