It was 1970 that Rick Nelson (also known as Ricky Nelson) had a US Top 40 hit with a recording of Bob Dylan's "She Belongs to Me" - the recording being with the Stone Canyon Band. The Stone Canyon Band started out as Tom Brumley, Allen Kemp, Pat Shanahan and Randy Meisner, but the line-up parted company with Nelson and changed their name to "Canyon".
