The Dutch/Surinamese Ro Halfhide is a singer-songwriter from Amsterdam who sings in the tradition of singers like Roy Orbison, Ben Harper and crooners like Gene Kelley. He has in the meantime attracted a small but dedicated following and played in 2008 at the VPRO/3voor12-stage at the Noorderslag Festival, Parade and Popronde. On stage he'll be playing with a band (M-JO, Luke Nyman and Lake Montgomery), or on his own.
