Aus der keimzelle des hessischen kinderpop entstand die ROCKFORMATION DISKOKUGEL im jahr 1997 bei einem urlaub in salford, einem vorort von manchester. zurück im rhein-main-gebiet sang sie lieder über anne clarks verhältnis zu morrissey , waver auf der suche nach der new wave oder die frage, worüber es sich heute noch zu singen lohne. nach kinderpop klang das allerdings nicht mehr:
