Rooke Concert History

Formed in 1989, Rooke's music is an original blend of rock and folk harmonies, with a mature sensibility in the structure and content of the lyrics. While some songs are simply fun or frivolous, there are deeper undercurrents of love, relationships and passion that run through many of the lyrics. Their live shows are energetic without being frenzied, with a lot of audience interaction and a focus on shifting the spotlight onto different members of the band at different times. The style of the music is fluid around a common core.
