Rougarou is a ragin’-ass indie rock band from New Orleans, Louisiana. They started to be a band in 2007. Their music harkens to Archers of Loaf, Superchunk and the Replacements, which makes sense because they like said bands. All at once, they are loud, tuneful and friendly. What’s more, their name comes from a variant of the term used to describe a Cajun werewolf. They disbanded in 2010.
