"Seis del Solar were born as a necessity to explore. Its not Willie Colón or Héctor Lavoe, who I admire. Im different, with a new style. I wanted something unlike what existed at the time. I got the trombones back and we were not six anymore, we were seven. Thats when we changed the name to Son del Solar."
