Norwegian folk music from the area Solør and Finnskogen. The first RUSK CD was released on the Norwegian label Heilo/Grappa in May 2002. The CD contains traditional dance music, traditional songs and psalms from the mysterious woods of Finnskogen - in new arrangements! Two of Norway's finest young folk musicians; singer Unni Løvlid and fiddle player Vegar Vårdal, but also Frode Haltli, raised in Våler i Solør, in the heart of this bewooded area...
