Russell Batiste Jr. (born David Russell Batiste Jr. in New Orleans on 12 December 1965; died 30 September 2023) was an American drummer. As well as solo recordings, Batiste played drums for the bands The Funky Meters, Papa Grows Funk, and Vida Blue.
