Ruthless tiene raíces antiguas en la escena del metal, pero no ha sido lo suficientemente activo como para ganar mucha notoriedad. Su debut en Discipline of Steel se lanzó allá por 1986, cuando un joven e indisciplinado Steel vivía exactamente para el tipo de poder estadounidense que ellos ofrecen, pero, trágicamente, nuestros caminos nunca se cruzaron. Resulta que no lanzaron una continuación hasta 2015 y The Fallen es su cuarto largometraje.
