SACRED fue fundada en 2010 por Jonatan Hallberg, Pontus Andrén y Christoffer Cederstrand bajo el nombre de AMNESIA. A pesar de varios cambios de formación, la banda ha sido una parte integral de la escena de metal de Gotemburgo desde su formación. En 2019, Robin Utbult y Gustav Blide se unieron a la formación y la banda pasó a llamarse SACRED. En 2020, la banda entró al estudio para grabar su sencillo debut “Wasting Away”, del cual también hay un video en YouTube.
