A multidisciplinary talent, Sadaf H. Nava is a producer, violinist, vocalist, DJ, and performance artist. As SADAF, she combines these elements into abrasive yet hypnotic music that deals with constraint, anxiety, and body imagery as it incorporates industrial noise, free jazz, reggaeton, and Middle Eastern music with her gripping vocal improvisations. Born in Iran and raised in Canada, Nava began making art as a toddler, starting with drawing and moving into painting and sculpture as she grew up.
