Sarina Simoom Concert History

Sarina Simoom was created by Jenna Herbst in 1995 in Washington D.C. “Herbst is simply a luminous talent -- a concise player whose elastic vocal style recalls Kate Bush, a more melodic Kristin Hersh and the elusive sirens of all those Greek myths,” says Laura Bond of Westword Magazine. The band quickly found success and was playing clubs such as the Black Cat and 9:30 Club. In 1997 Jenna moved to Denver, Colorado and drummer Todd Bills joined the band.
