Scolohofo Concert History

Guitarist John Scofield, saxophonist Joe Lovano, bassist Dave Holland, and drummer Al Foster formed Scolohofo in 1999, although each of them had played together much earlier (Lovano and Scofield played together in the 1970s, Foster and Scofield played with Miles Davis in the 1980s). In addition, the rhythm section of Scofield, Holland and Foster backed Joe Henderson on a tribute to Miles Davis called "So Near, so Far." The group toured together in 1999 and 2002; an album was released in 2003.
