Sebastian Clark is a wonderful experimental folk musician who made his debut album, Songs from a Van, quite literally from his van using a myriad of electrical sources to record. What mostly shines through on this tuneful disc is a breezy fondness for the bright, sunny side of pop radio’s golden days –– Lennon/McCartney, Simon & Garfunkel, and Jim Croce in particular.
