See The Elephant came together in late 2007. Original lineup consisted of Mitch Mitchel on vocals, Josh Weidman on guitar, Cameron Castillo on guitar, and Matt Glaze on drums. After about 6 months of playing shows, Mitch Mitchell left the band. With only 2 weeks to prepare for an upcoming show, the band decided to re-write their lyrics and ditch the concept of a lead vocalist to the idea of making all parts of the band equally responsible for singing.
