Steven Wells (1960–24 June 2009) was a British journalist and author, who lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA at the time of his death. He is best remembered for his provocative, unapologetic music writing, in publications such as NME and Playlouder.com.Born in Swindon, UK in 1960, he moved to the northern English city of Bradford with his family in 1968.
