Self Proclaimed is a 4-piece alternative rock band from Sacramento, CA that formed in late 2008. The band was formed by Ethan Blankensop (vocs/guitar), Johnny Johnson(drums), and Nate Olsen(bass). After a lot of off and on practices, most of which never went very well, the three decided there was something missing. What ended up being the missing piece also ended up being a very important addition to the band. It was Matt Miramontes, Ethan's older brother and the newest member of Self Proclaimed playing lead guitar.
