Growing up in Conroe, Texas, Shellee Coley always saw herself as a pop artist. She went to college at a music school in Nashville and was later offered a recording contract but put those dreams on hold for a season. Years later she emerges with a new depth and perspective that is sure to relate to the real life struggles and doubts of any listener. Her music ranges from moody folk to quirky pop. Her first EP, The Girl the Stencil Drew, was released in August 2009; her first full length album, Where It Began, was released in February 2012.
