Shinkai Wadaiko Concert History

Shinkai Wadaiko is a taiko group (the term encompasses a variety of japanese percussion instruments) formed in Santos, Brazil. The group's name comes from the combination of two ideograms: the kanji for 'kokoro'「心」, which can also be read as 'shin' and which means 'heart, soul, mind'; and the kanji for 'umi' 「海」, which in this case is read as 'kai' and represents the sea.
