From the swampy, salty shores of Southern New Jersey that the Jersey Devil is said to inhabit, comes a new and commanding force in the post metal/doom genre. Specializing in the art of droning rhythmic hypnotism, SHRINER uses melodically seductive guitar lines and a punishing vocal delivery to complete their sonic palette. With some tracks clocking in past the 13-minute mark, this eastern philosophy-influenced 4-piece decimates typical standards of songwriting in the name of artistic freedom and expression.
