From the depths of Los Angeles emerges alternative metal band Sleeping Dog. Forming in 2012, the band created a high energy sound ranging from chainsaw riffs and high pitched screams to slow ballads and soft harmonies. Their first release (2015) Otis Empire included 8 tracks and singles Monster and Rain. The band would later release a full length record (2018) My Throneless Seeking with 11 tracks including singles Bad bones and Cold Reign. Sleeping Dog has opened for national acts such as Otep and Drowning Pool.
