Smash the State! is a hardcore punk band from Kansas City. Band memebers include Mike Yeagar, Josh Smithey, Thad Nugent, Matt Warriner, and Dustin Bigelow. They have been together since December 2009 and rushed the scene with their onslaught of in your face vocals and fierce riffs. They aren't the three cord punk band of yesteryear. With influences ranging from Bad Brains, Choking Victim, Propagandhi, Kill Your Idols, DRI, Bad Religion, and Pennywise, they have a lot of strings to pull from.
