SOFT CEREMONY (official capitalization) is the genre-amorphous, multi aspect DIY project of Matthew Allan. SOFT CEREMONY continues to touch on harsh subject matter such as spousal death, abuse and trauma through the lens of being openly gay in the southeast United States. SOFT CEREMONY uses harsh textures and noise elements from instruments built by Spencer Hazard (Full of Hell) and a 15 year arsenal of self taught programming and production.
