Something Involving A Monkey started as a collaboration between Joe Petrich, Todd Ankrom, and BeZo. The three have been in the greater Cleveland music scene for years. Todd and Joe were in a band called The Family Riot when the band disbanded. They found BeZo and started Something Involving A Monkey in early 2010. They began playing shows live in 2011.
