SONIC DREI has created a unique band sound in which the soundscapes of 3 instrumentalists are united into a manifold world. The complex time signatures, the unusual tempo shifts, the depth and the perfectly understated solos of the 3 musicians - Florian Riedl (alto saxophone, clarinet), Peter Cudek (bass) and Martin Kolb (drums) - never get lost in the abstract. Playfully and spontaneously their musical impulses tell a story- riveting, present, unpredictable.
