Sproton Layer Concert History

Sproton Layer were an Ann Arbor, Michigan band formed in 1968, active until 1970. This was the first band fronted by Roger Miller (later of Mission of Burma, No Man Is Roger Miller, and Birdsongs of the Mesozoic), also featured brothers Ben and Laurence Miller (later of Destroy All Monsters), and Harold Kirchen. Despite still being in high school, their sole album "With Magnetic Fields Disrupted" is a monumental piece of psychedelic acid rock, influenced by Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd, the Soft Machine and SRC.
