Memphis-born and Atlanta-based, staHHr is an integral part of the Atlanta Hip-Hop community, member of the Universal Zulu Nation (Atlantis Chapter) and formerly the lone feminine component of the Sub Verse Music and Metalface Records rosters. Although she’s been releasing music and performing with other artists for close to two decades, it wasn’t until 2008 that she unleashed her debut solo album Almost Neva Was via the Beatvizion Music digital imprint.
