The band formed in Seguin, TX, outside of San Antonio, the latter part of 2000. After a couple of lineup changes and the untimely death of member Mark Medina (guitars) the band has forged on to become a force in the Texas metal scene. Through a performance at the Captive Audience Showcase during the South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, TX, STUK caught the attention of industry representatives.
