Sugarcraft's 2013 Concert History

Inspired by 60s and 70s funk and soul, early 90s hip hop and modern pop, Sugarcraft is a collaborative project between Beth Stephen (The Little Stevies) on vocals and Ben Houghton (The Megahorns) on the beats. Sugarcraft flips the super-polished modern pop aesthetic on its head with crackly old samples and an authentic sound without studio wizardry. First conceived while listening to Christina Aguilera’s Back To Basics (produced by DJ Premier) this music tries to capture something soulful that often seems to lack these days.
