Supertramp's 1972 Concert History

Supertramp was a British progressive rock band formed in 1970 by Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson. The two originally performed as co-vocalists, but in 1983, Hodgson left the group and Davies became the sole lead vocalist. Supertramp released 11 studio albums during its tenure. "Breakfast in America" (1979), the band's sixth, proved to be the most commercially and critically successful, spawning such hits as "The Logical Song", "Goodbye Stranger", and "Take the Long Way Home" and a massively successful ten month tour. The band's final album "Slow Motion" dropped in 2002. Supertramp continued touring for another decade before disbanding for the final time in 2012. On September 6, 2025, Rick Davies passed away from complications related to multiple myeloma.
