Team Shark Week is a Chico, CA based indie-electro duo consisting of Matt Houar (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and Steve Spirk (Bass, Keyboards, Engineering). Team Shark Week formed in the closing months of 2006 with the goal of having a two-man outfit that could get people dancing with the effectiveness of a four-man crew. After months of painstaking work, they began playing shows in January of 2007. Summer 2008 saw the release of Team Shark Week’s first album, Hospitalizer, featuring fan favorite “Waffle Party.
