Tension Generation layers morose lyrics over a hybrid of hardcore and party punk. The quintet, centered in Chicago, musically incorporates the fun, visceral, and aggressive elements of punk, while lyrically adhering to the "end of days" philosophies that can be attributed to the impending downfall of humanity. The combination results in short bursts of temporarily uplifting energy to take our minds off the pressures of the world.
