The Beaters's 2003 Concert History

South African soul-jazz funk-rock band formed in the late 60's by Selby Ntuli (guitar), Sipho Mabuse (drums), Alec Khaoli (bass) and Monty Ndimande (guitar). During a tour of Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) in 1976, they changed their name to Harari, then a township outside Salisbury (Harare).
