The Birdwatchers Concert History

The Birdwatchers were a garage rock band from South Florida in the 60's. Originally called The Apollos, they changed their moniker after releasing the singles "Rockin' Horses", and "Walk By Myself" in 1964. It was the addition of vocalist Sammy Hall that solidified them. Blue Things-styled folk rock like 'It's A Long Way Home' and 'It Doesn't Matter' foreshadow the sound that would become their signature. The Birdwatchers hit their watermark with 'I'm Gonna Love You Anyway...
