The Black Heartthrobs are an indie rock band with David Benitez on guitar and vocals, Jane Greely on drums and Spenser Wells on bass. This trio fuses catchy early Weezer-eque songwriting with the garage rock delivery of Pavement and The Nerves. They recently released their debut album Clean Dirty Clean on Aggravated music (8/10/10).
